Wife of Creon until she learned of
her son's, Haemon, unfortunate suicide
over Antigone, she decided to take
her own life. It left Creon with nothing
his sons were gone and now his wife
had decided to kill herself out of grief
for her son's suicide.

King Arthur
external image king_arthur_3.jpg
Both Creon and King Arthur were powerful
subjects that demanded the upmost respect
and honor, and if a person had decided to
disobey one of the rules that they had put
into place, that person would most likely
be met with strong punishments.

Antigone
external image antigone.jpg
Up until Antigone's choice to attempt to bury
Polynieces, Creon would have still been friends
with his niece, Antigone, because she was
still family to him. Even after her sentencing
he still felt for her and his choices.

Ismene

get along since she would obey him.

Notes- One For Each Episode

Prolouge - Finding out that my nephews died while fighting in battle is a horrible thing. But Polynecies is a trader to the land of Thebes. I will not allow a proper burial for him. His body must stay there and rot for all the wrong doing he has done. Making a law that no one shall move the body will ensure that the body will not be moved.

Episode 1 - No one will disobey me! Especially not my niece, Antigone. She has gone against my rule and buried Polyneices. The guard has told me what he has seen. Death is certainly the price for Antigone. - "Death is indeed the price, but love of gain has often lured a man to his destruction."

Episode 2

The sentry returned to our palace to deliver news that he had caught Antigone covering the body of Polynices. Why this is hard to believe, there has to be justice for what she has done wrong. I know that she lost her own brother in battle but there is still no reason why she would have to resort to acting against the order that he cannot be given a proper burial.--- “ Curse you! Find the love for your outlet down there. No women while I live shall govern me.”

Episode 3

Haemon has decided to confront me on my decision to have Antigone sentenced to death. He proclaimed that he loved her and how there wasn't a solid reason on why she had to die for her actions. He said that she only did it because she thought it was something both of her brothers deserved. He went on to tell how if she were to be killed, her life would not be the only life taken that day. But I am still certain on my choice, even if Haemon proclaims that he would take his own life, if she were to die.----“I’ll take her down a path untrod by man. I’ll hide her living in a rock-hewn vault, With ritual food enough to clear the taint of murder from the City’s name. I’ll leave her pleading to her favorite God hades. He may charm her out a way to life. Perhaps she’ll learn though late the cost of homage to the dead is labor lost.

Episode 4

Faced with a decesion whether to sentence my own niece to her death, I was confronted by the Chorus and somehow persauded to not have her sentenced to death. While my choice is still not lacking in punishment, the idea of placing her in a tomb where she has to make a choice whether to live or to kill herself might seem harsh. But she has proclaimed that she has not had resentful thoughts in her mind, and everything she did she believes was right. She didn't plead for her life to be saved or for forgiveness, she felt like she had brought honor to her brother and she is ready to face the fact that she will most likely die.----"Perhaps you aimed to high you dashed your foot on fate where justice sits enthroned."

Episode 5

I cannot believe Tiresias choice to say that my decision goes against divine law. This is a choice for me and me only, I do not need someone telling me that my choices go against divine law. I am already dissapointed in Antigone, Ismene, and Haemon, who have all gone against my word. It is painful to realize how Tiresias was loyal to the people and king of Thebes, and it hurts to accept what he has said even though it goes against in what I believe is deserved. I must now go free Antigone and promise for a proper burial for Polynices. ------"Can't fight against what's destined.-----"I must personally undo what I have done. I shouldn't have tried being unorthodox. I'll stick by the established laws in the future."
